Best Shrimp & Crawfish Boil Mix

My husband, a self-proclaimed foodie and lover of all things seafood, went to a shrimp and crawfish boil over the weekend. He came back a changed man after tasting a new Cajun boil mix. “This mix is so good, I could drink the leftover water in the pot,” he said to me with a half-serious look on his face. (Here’s a snapshot of his adventure, complete with his cup of Abita beer to grace the table.)

RONS

Intrigued, I had to try it…so we had our own little shrimp boil at home. Let me tell you, this stuff is GOOD! It’s called Ron and Jerry’s White Trash Boil (available online at www.ronandjerrys.com), and it packs a unique blend of spices that I haven’t tasted in other mixes. I’m not particularly fond of super spicy seasonings that sacrifice flavor for heat, so I was pleasantly surprised by this awesome mix! You get the best of both worlds here. Even the corn and potatoes soaked in all the goodness.

Rj The men behind the madness: Ron Williams (Birmingham businessman, native of Baton Rouge, and well-seasoned Cajun cook) and Dr. Jerry Kitchens (Birmingham surgeon, outdoorsman, and Honorary Cajun for his love of Louisiana cooking). With beers in hand, these two friends set out to create the best boil ever. Through trial and error, they found that “just right” spice full of flavor with the perfect balance of heat. You’ll want to get some for crawfish and shrimp season (my favorite time of year). Try it, and tell me what you think.

I'm always looking for a good mix, and I agree, most pack a lot of heat but not a lot of flavor.
I'll be ordering this online soon. Is there anywhere that they sell in stores?

Ooops. Help me stop the water coming out from my mouth. As always boiled crawfish is really yummy. That's irresistible and will always be.
